ROB WHEELER - LEAVE TOMORROW

THE BCMA NOMINATED NUMBER 1 COUNTRY ALBUM

Following on from a summer of success, Rob Wheeler releases a jam-packed super deluxe version of his critically-acclaimed,

BCMA nominated, Number 1 country album “Leave Tomorrow”.

The album is released on December 11th and will feature a deep dive into the creation of the album itself, including behind the scenes demos and unplugged live versions recorded in Nashville. It is a musical “making of” documentary and offers an emotional and revealing insight into the journey of the album’s creation with a grand total of 25 bonus tracks!!

PLUS - an additional "streaming only" special release EP with additional new mixes.

Rob Wheeler’s Leave Tomorrow album (published by Bucks Music Group) has been nominated album of the year at the 2025

British Country Music Association awards, and with a growing reputation for his live shows following a successful headline UK tour in the summer, he and his band have been asked to headline the awards ceremony as well.

The original album was written and recorded over a four month period in Nashville TN, featuring collaborations with

Steve Dorff (Songwriter Hall of Fame) Jeff Trott (BMI Songwriter of the Year) Fred Eltringham (ACM Drummer of the Year)

and Grammy Award winner Frank Liddell and his songwriting team at Carnival Music.

The album hit number one on the UK country music chart upon its release ahead of Morgan Wallen and Beyonce and garnered widespread critical acclaim and extended radio play, including spots on the BBC, CountryLine

and Absolute Radio Country on Baylen Leonard’s celebrated Front Porch show.

Amongst the many favourable reviews it received, Rob had a three-page featured article in the legendary Record Collector magazine and the album was awarded 5/5 stars by R&R magazine - the only 5 star country album in the June 2025 edition.

The single “Why Whiskey Why?” has become a particular radio favourite, A-listed by multiple regional and specialist country stations, and was selected by Apple Music for the prestigious “New In Country” editorial playlist; whilst the official music video

for “Goodbye Summer" has already amassed over a quarter of a million views on Vevo in just its first few weeks of release.

Rob is returning to Nashville in early 2026 to record the follow up album - “Hometown”

which is a direct sequel to “Leave Tomorrow” - the concept being that no matter where you go, no matter what you do

and who you meet along the way - you can always find your way back home again when you need to...

This sentiment perfectly aligns with Rob’s passion for his deep connection to Nashville, and his love of his rural Cheshire home;

or as he puts it - “Countryside with a side of country!”

“My heroes sang about cowboys and horses, desperados and drifters; but I write and sing about what I see and what I feel. And you know what, I believe that's the root of all great country music no matter where you’re from;

sharing your true feelings in a song, so that somebody listening is just a little less lonely”.

Reviews for Leave Tomorrow  - The Number 1 Country Albumb

Exclusive features in Record Collector Magazine and Cheshire Life Magazine

Album Reviews:-

5/5

“An album of compelling tunes with a country twang, but enough British influence to avoid blending into the Americana background. Wheeler’s gravel brushed voice blends perfectly with the music and he is adept at delivering the emotion baked into each song.

With an air of the Eagles, its possessed with choruses destined to have audiences singing along.”

RNR Magazine

“Leave Tomorrow” is not simply a collection of songs; it’s a narrative woven from the threads of Wheeler’s experiences, his dreams, and his hard-won wisdom. It’s a sonic tapestry that blends the raw honesty of his Northern roots

with the polished craftsmanship of Nashville’s seasoned musicians."

Country Music News International

"Country-pop sound steeped in classic storytelling....Combining radio-ready polish with raw emotion"

Entertainment Focus

"This album represents a full-circle moment bringing Rob’s Cheshire roots and Nashville influences together."

Country Lowdown

"An emotional, heartfelt album... Rob Wheeler is becoming a strong force within the UK country music scene."

Building Our Own Nashville

“Rob Wheeler’s Leave Tomorrow is a masterful blend of UK and Nashville country, rich with immersive, emotive soundscapes. Standout tracks like Why Whiskey Why and Mount Juliet showcase his gift for writing heartfelt songs that linger long after the music stops.”

You Country

“I've rarely been touched by British artists singing country music. But when I heard Leave Tomorrow I was blown away. Rob’s songs are memorable without being predictable, and his voice connects each and every single time. Bravo from Canada.”

Larry LeBlanc - Celebrity Access

“A refreshing blend of insight, emotional transparency, and wry humour with strong themes of hope and escape.

An extraordinary album of beautiful songs”

London Mums Magazine

“In Rob Wheeler, the UK has a phenomenal country music star in the making. He really connects emotionally,

with powerful songs delivered with raw passion.. buy this record!!”

FATEA

9.5/10

"This is Northern Country at its finest—and Rob Wheeler isn’t just ready to leave tomorrow; he’s ready to lead the way forward. An emotionally resonant, musically masterful triumph. Wheeler proves he’s not just good enough—he’s essential."

Jace Music Media

“Rob Wheeler releases the perfect soundtrack to escape with new album Leave Tomorrow”

British Country Music Association

“Leave Tomorrow is the kind of record that doesn’t shout for attention, it quietly and gently earns it with a quiet kind of hope, building momentum without sacrificing feeling. It’s the tension between hope and weariness that gives the album its character, highlighting a musician who’s not just writing songs, but shaping an identity. Rob calls it “Northern Country,” and it’s a fitting label.

His voice belongs to both places. Leave Tomorrow doesn’t aim to reinvent country music, instead, it carves out space for a voice

that’s self-aware and quietly determined. It’s an album about second chances and learning when to take the leap.”

Amplify The Noise

8.5/10

A good intro hooks you, its the first rule of writing - Rob Wheeler understands this..

Leave Tomorrow is wonderfully compelling, authentic, evocative, emotional and good grief can he write a chorus!!"

Maximum Volume Mag

“There are household names that wish they were as good as him”

Neil McCormick - The Daily Telegraph

“A strong sense of melody meets old fashioned song craft”

Paul Sexton - Bob Harris Country Show

“Wheeler wears his heart on his sleeve - tenderness, tragedy and bags of talent”

Chris Baxter - BBC Radio

“Great vocals, great melody, great songs. Music that can be felt! It’s like going back to the classic era of country music”

Metalheads Forever Magazine

“Rob Wheeler’s Leave Tomorrow is less a straightforward country record and more a finely woven tapestry of self-discovery, humour and heartfelt confession. It feels like a friendly chat around a campfire: warm, honest and full of stories you can’t wait to hear.

Across eleven tracks, Rob takes us from the grey skies of Cheshire to the bright lights of Nashville,

showing that you don’t have to choose one place or one style; you can embrace them both.

This album is all about looking forward, picking yourself up after mistakes and finding joy in the small moments.”

Live Reviews:-

“Surrounded by outstanding musicians, Rob’s show fills the room. The attentive and appreciative audience are captivated by the music and humour. He has an eye for emotional connections through his song writing and delivery and here in this listening room, that is so apparent. If you get any opportunity - go and see Rob Wheeler & The Hushtones - they are the real deal.”

FATEA

“Endearing humility, virtuoso guitar and passionate gritty vocals. Wheeler pours his soul onto the stage.”

65 Country

“The show pulses with moments of quiet vulnerability. On stripped-back numbers, Wheeler pulls back the curtain on self-doubt and longing. Sparse guitar and breath-soaked vocals that offer glimpses of the man behind the songs.”

Red Radio

“Rob Wheeler live is a lesson in vulnerability, resilience and northern country soul. With his whisky warm voice and razor sharp lyrics, Rob turns an intimate venue into a sanctuary of stories. Highlights? Too many to mention, but Throw A Little Light My Way had us in tears, this isn’t just a record it’s a survival story set to Melody!”

London Mums Magazine

“Tonight’s gig was just perfect, filled with an electric atmosphere from start to finish.

Both loyal followers and new fans turned out in force, showing genuine appreciation for the music and making the night truly special.

Rob delivered his self-penned songs with the confidence and presence of a million-selling artist. Yet, despite his considerable success he’s humble, down to earth, funny – and still very much that boy-next-door.”

Ian James - Cheshire Mix56

“Rob Wheeler is a star. I think he knows that. If confidence alone is all you need, then he has it in bucket loads, but he can back it up. He has the songs. He has the voice. He has the guitar skills. He has the personality. The perfect example was new song, “No Mans Land”, you could have heard a pin drop if it wasn't for grown men wiping a tear from their eye.”
